Just before the Bank Holiday weekend I took a trip up to Leicestershire to visit two of our Registered grounds, the first of which was Normanton Shooting ground on the beautiful Normanton Park Estate in Thurlaston.Established in 1968 and run by Dave Pearson & Mick Marlow on behalf of the ground owner Walter Bembow, the shooting ground occupies a lovely location overlooking the surrounding farmland.
The ground is open for practice Tuesday to Saturday and offers a 50 bird English Sporting Course, 2 Registered DTL layouts, ABT & UT along with a newly introduced Compak layout and a warm welcome awaits you at their comfortable Clubhouse.

Lastly I would like to thank Dave & Mick for their time and hospitality during my visit. I shot a round on their Sporting layout with a couple of Club regulars and it was really good to meet everyone.
