1)
The School/College/University
must be either a CPSA Associated Club Member or a CPSA Affiliated Member
depending upon whether they have a shooting facility within their campus.
Associated Club Membership costs £60 per annum and is for shooting clubs with
no facility who travel elsewhere to practice etc. Affiliated Club Membership
costs £77 per annum and is for clubs with a shooting facility and as such they
must have a CPSA Qualified Safety Officer and Insurance. Proof of both is
required with this membership. Affiliated Club Membership entitles a new Club
to send one person on a CPSA Safety Officers Course free of charge – a saving
of £99!
2)
We require a minimum of 10
students to join the CPSA as a block application in order to kick in the
reduced rate which will then automatically apply to any further students
joining from the institution.
3)
The University is responsible
for administering both its Club Membership and the Students Individual
Membership.
4)
Under 21 Students will join as
Junior Members (normally £36) but will pay the Colt Membership rate of £21
whilst a student at the University. Over 21’s from higher education will be
Full Members (normally £62) but pay the Junior Rate of £36 whilst at the
University/Polytechnic etc.
5)
Lastly, the
School/College/University etc would not be eligible for commission under the
current Club scheme due to the discounted rates being offered.
This is an excellent opportunity to benefit from discounted membership rates for the many schools and colleges throughout the UK who participate in our sport and provides their members with the valuable insurance cover of up to £10M Public Liability and £30,000 Personal Accident Cover.
The discounts apply to our competition membership rates thus enabling the students to participate in Registered Shoots with their Clubs during term time and over the their holiday periods.
Last but by no means least they will also benefit from receiving PULL! magazine 10 times a year thus keeping up to date with all that's going on with shooting!
If you would like your School/College/University Club to join then please contact Richard Worthington on 01483 485406 or via e-mail at richard@cpsa.co.uk
